ADVERTORIAL The end-to-end Digital Customer Experience: the future for sales success E ven before lockdown, research studies were indicating the increasing number of retail customer interactions being made using Augmented Reality product visualisation. Over the last few years the car industry has been leading the way in this field, and the result of this change has been an improved product experience and the way people buy cars -with customers beginning their journey online with all the relevant information at their disposal. In this process, the trip to the dealers becomes the final stage to confirm and validate a decision already made at home. Within the new homes industry, and partially due to the current social distancing rules, there is an urgent need for introducing an effective digital solution into the current customer journey. This is being driven both by customers current expectation for technology to deliver quality content – and despite restrictions being lifted, the continuing reluctance of many people to travel and a hesitation to interact with strangers.
